This past Saturday in Dry Ridge, Kentucky, was absolutely beautiful! The sun was shining and the breeze was perfect. Jake and Kaylee had the classiest summer wedding at one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Kentucky.
I hadn’t had the honor of taking any engagement photos for Kaylee + Jake, so we hadn’t really had the chance to get to know each other super well before Saturday. But that didn’t get in the way even a little bit of us capturing the most gorgeous portraits and, honestly, just having so much dang fun!
As soon as I got there, I got to meet both the bride + groom, and both Kaylee and Jake were so welcoming and kind. We spent the first half of the day taking bridesmaid photos, bridal portraits, groomsmen photos, detail shots, and keeping Jake away from Kaylee!
It wasn’t until Kaylee walked down the aisle in her stunning wedding dress, that Jake finally saw her. It was the sweetest ceremony. Everyone attending could feel how much they loved one another. It was so beautiful to get to watch them finally get married!
After the ceremony, we did family photos and bridal party photos. Then, we finally got to take the most beautiful, glowy bride + groom portraits! Kaylee and Jake are so in love, and it was so fun to get to capture this part of their story!
It was SO hard picking favorites because the entire gallery is just to die for, but nonetheless- here are a few of my most fav pictures frome the day!
As always, I was so honored to be a part of this day! I met so many wonderful people, and honestly, it was the best start to shooting weddings in Kentucky!
